Chemistry is everywhere. Look around you: A chemist was involved in the development of the ink used in your books, the screen of your cell phone, and the materials of your keyboard. Everything you hear, see, smell, taste, and touch involves chemistry, and using these senses all involve intricate series of biochemical reactions and interactions in your body. Chemistry, the "central science", helps us to answer questions in the biological, environmental, and many other physical sciences. Study chemistry to appreciate why some compounds are gases, while others are solids or liquids, and gain an understanding of the behaviour of molecules. Some of the careers that the students can choose from are Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Healthcare Scientist, Clinical Biochemistry, Forensic Scientist, Nanotechnologist, Pharmacologist, Research Scientist (physical sciences), Toxicologist to name a few.
