Technical Education is more of a vocational education about appliances, computers and technology. Technical education teacher must have hands on experience on the vocational subjects and have full command to answer student queries. Specialized program are available for technical educators which emphasizes on developing strong communication skills, classroom management and provision of niche technical knowledge and methodology.
Technical educators can seek career in polytechnic colleges, vocational centers or post-secondary schools. US BLS predicted an employability growth of 12% during 2012-2022, BLS also reported in May 2013 that the mean yearly income of technical educators at secondary level was $57,200 and teachers at vocational centers earned mean yearly salary of $52680.
