Elementary education is also known as primary education and in this phase students are taught the concepts of science, mathematics, and arts. An elementary teacher should possess good communication skills both written and verbal, and efficient teaching method for conveyance of key concepts with ease. Students enrolled in this program will take courses regarding curriculum design, assessment techniques, children psychology, pedagogy techniques and school policy.
Pass-outs of this program can take up career as elementary teacher where they teach a class all the subjects or may choose to do specialization in one subject and teach that subject at elementary level.
