Biotechnology is related to the infiltration of biological processes in order to create products that are useful for the humanity. Major biotechnological applications are in the areas of health care, food, and environment preservation. Modern biotechnologists are now working to provide sustainable solutions in order to combat debilitating and rare diseases, reduce our environmental footprint, feed the hungry, cleaner energy, and have safer, cleaner and more efficient industrial manufacturing processes. Pass-out of this program can take up jobs as a biotechnologist in pharmaceuticals or food industry. They can also pursue research in laboratories regarding agriculture, fuelling, and disease prevention.
